Salt and Light Together, Inc.’s 501(c)(3) Dental Clinic seeks a full-time General Dentist serving Tarrant County's underserved populations. Founded in 2001 by members of First Presbyterian Church Fort Worth, the clinic was created to meet a critical gap in access to dental care for neighbors experiencing homelessness, low income, or no insurance.

Job Description Job Duties:
The essential functions listed are representative of those required to successfully perform the job.
Provide comprehensive dental care in compliance with the Dental Practice Act, including exams, extractions, restorations (fillings, 3D printed crowns), 3D printed bridges or dentures, root canals, oral surgeries, and other necessary procedures for underserved populations and neighbors experiencing homelessness
Utilize conventional analog dentistry and advanced technologies, including intra-oral scanning (IOS), Cone Beam CT (3D imaging and virtual planning), 3D printing of restorations, & Exocad (virtual planning software)
Assist in developing and ensuring compliance with clinic protocols, standard operating procedures, and infection control standards
Partner with the Practice Administrator and HR on the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and retention of RDAs, RDH, and receptionist; serve as a collaborative backup supervisor to staff and volunteers
Support, train, and coach dental staff and volunteers to ensure quality, consistency, and compassionate care of the ministry’s outreach efforts
Contribute to the overall success of the dental ministry by performing additional duties as assigned
full-time $160,000 - $185,000 per year
